But I can see why someone else would want to have a shortcut for a highlighter or a different pen stroke available at the click of a button. Because I couldn’t see it, I kept accidentally pressing it, and so I disabled mine. Personally, I didn’t like the button simply because I have to add a grip to my writing utensils. It feels lighter than the Remarkable 2’s and comes with an eraser and a shortcut button. If you’re writing for hours at a time (say in class), you’ll want a lightweight writing utensil and the Scribe’s pen fits the bill. The Kindle Scribe keeps my handwriting looking natural and like I actually used a pen to write.įor an extra $59, the Premium Pen is well-worth the splurge. One of my great concerns when I test out E Ink tablets is that my script can sometimes appear pixelated. Additionally, writing on the page felt smooth and fluid. If I wanted to swap between a large rule-lined page or a dotted grid, I could open the settings and change it with a couple of taps. The notebook comes with complete customizability. One of my favorite things about the Scribe is the notebook feature and the writing experience itself. It makes for an easy grab, so you can continue your day without hunting too hard for your documents. Another perk is that when you first boot up the device, if you’re on the home page, your most recent notebook will display alongside your books. Tapping this pulls up all of the notebooks you’ve created in the past, and you can sort them by date, title and type. What’s different this time around? You get another section at the bottom of the display for notebooks. It’s still just as easy to pull up my books, turn the page or highlight the text. The first it does as well as its older siblings, the Kindle and the Kindle Paperwhite, outfitted with an adjustable warm light and easy-to-use home and library screen. This is the third book in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series, and the first two books remain on this list. There was also a reentry at the bottom of the list. There wasn’t too much change to the list of most read books on Amazon between Sunday, Nov. 26 saw the arrival of a new David Baldacci book. A new week is here, which means there’s more change on the list of most read Amazon books.
